We won! I'd like to take a moment to say a huge THANKS to all that supported me through this process. Now the real work begins and I hope to continue earning your trust and support throughout these next 4 years.
I’m a former Moore County Schools teacher and current parent who has worked hard to help students and staff in MCS since I began my career in 1998. I started off as a kindergarten, 2nd grade, and then computer lab teacher at Vass-Lakeview Elementary. Later I became a digital integration facilitator and then assistant director of technology- where I was absolutely blessed to work with an outstanding team to bring 1-to-1 laptops, robotics, coding, STEM, and other fun and engaging work into classrooms across the whole district.
Speaking of blessed, I met my wife at Vass-Lakeview, where she taught 4th grade at the same time I taught 2nd. We were married less than a year after we met and are now raising three beautiful and talented daughters, who have spent their entire school lives within MCS.
I’m running because I LOVE Moore County Schools- it’s teachers, staff, students, and families. My family and I have gotten so much out of this district that I feel it’s my duty to give back in any way I can. Through the years I’ve had the honor of working in every single MCS school, many times over.
I now seek the honor of continuing to work and support our schools by representing them with dignity, respect, and experience on our School Board.
